What a wonderful KWPN filly foal born in the afternoon of 06/04/2021! We are over the moon with her!
From a fabulous dam-line, with a champion father and this unique look ... we still can't believe our eyes!! She is the 2nd FLY out of a homebred mare, so exciting!

Her mother, Margarita Fly, is out of Colista - her first son got into the 2nd round of the KWPN stallion approval, he was a formidable jumper (deceased at the very young age of 6yo). Her older daughter is jumping internationally for Mexico! Excellent bloodline, BUT ALSO: she has the same dam line as the iconic CONCORDE! 4 of her siblings are jumping GP internationally, one is inclusively a full sister to Colista (see below more about her dam-line). Margarita is sired by Bonanza, so far the only colored approved stallion by the iconic Baloubet du Rouet. Bonanza jumped successfully at 1.35m level (YH 7yo) before focusing on his breeding career.

Utah van Erpekom, the sire of Mimosa, jumped and won at the highest level (ISJ 1.60m 5* under the saddle of John Whitaker! We have had several foals by this stallion, all showing great skills (still very young, the oldest are 6yo in 2021). His son Ulyss has won at the highest level ISJ 1.60.

It was heartbreaking but we had to say goodbye to Mimosa too soon! She was born very weak and caught a fatal pneumonia.
